He is survived by: his parents, Shannon Phillips (Jerald) and Norm Gowin; his sisters, Emily Gowin Stafford (Chance), Sarah Gowin and Elyse Gowin; his nephews, Braxton Gowin, Dawson Alexander and Theo Gowin; his niece Deliliah Stafford; his grandmother Mickie Payne (Frank); his aunt Jenney Pence; and his uncle Ronnie Gowin (De). He is also survived by numerous cousins and a wide circle of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests blood donations be made to the AMERICAN RED CROSS in Stephen's name, a fitting tribute to his generous spirit.
