He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Jones and Sallie Jones; his sister Loretta Jones; his former wife Gail Jones; and his daughter Rebecca Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Jones; his children, Brian Sandlin and Jana Higginbotham (Steven); his siblings, Eddie Jones, Andy Jones (Bonnie), Rhonda Bennett (Randy) and Lisa Jones; his grandchildren, Abigail Higginbotham, Kat Higginbotham, Ethan Summers and Cohan Summers; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Aurora, Daxel and Draven. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.
The Family is honored by all expressions of sympathy but suggests that in lieu of flowers donation be made to G.R.I.T.S. (Girls Rich In The Spirit Disaster Fund) c/o Bible Lutheran Church, 812 Blue Jay Road Rincon GA.
