He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McCurry and Fay Fulford McCurry; and his brother Terry McCurry. He is survived by: his wife Carla Powers McCurry; his son Stephen Edward McCurry (Wanda Michelle McCurry); and his grandsons, Colton Edward McCurry and Wyatt Jameson McCurry.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the Treutlen House at New Ebenezer.
