He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan C. Exley and Mae Lee Exley. He is survived by: his children, Steve Exley and Melissa Slago; his grandchildren, Allison Wade, Justin Stringer, Taylor Exley, Colby DuPree, Bradley Slago and Amanda Slago; his great grandchildren, Emma and Ella DuPree; and his sister Clara Lee Carter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
