With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Sherrod of Rincon, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Patterson Sherrod and Marjorie Nash Sherrod; his grandparents, Dewey, Inez Deloach Sherrod, Bernard James and Irma Tyler Nash; and his sister Patricia Sherrod Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Singleton Sherrod; his children, Lauren Sherrod Smith (Chris) and Travis Benjamin Sherrod; his grandchildren, Ella and Kip Smith; his brothers, Jack Sherrod (Ronna) and Bill Sherrod (Lynn); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Myers, Charlie Singleton (Griselda) and Kay Harper (Rex). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
