He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Marchant (Hardwick); his daughter Christy Lynn Marchant; and his siblings-in-law, Susie Hughey and Daniel Hardwick. He is also survived by his fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Beaufort National Cemetery.
