He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Carlton Cook, Sr. and Lelia Legnaioli Cook; and his son Michael D. Cook. He is survived by: his children, Penny Christol (Steve) and Patrick Bradley Cook; his grandchildren, Dylan Zimdahl (Sarah), Kevin Zimdahl, Steven Tyler Christol (Jasmine) and Morgan Leigh Cook; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Luke Christol, Willow Jade Christol and Joseph Douglas Christol.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A rosary was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (1952 GA-21, Springfield, GA 31329). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
