She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barr and Margaret Edwards Barr; her husband Wayne Shearouse; and her brothers, Bernie Barr and Elwin Barr.

She is survived by: her siblings, Ray Barr (Elayne) and Joyce Doonan (Johnny). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
