He is survived by: his son Robert G. Kaufman II (Sarah); his grandson Robert G. "Trey" III of Durham, NC; his son Kyle D. Kaufman (Meredith); and his grandchildren, Claire A., Thomas M. of Richmond Hill, GA, Benjamin D. of Richmond Hill, GA and Caleb H. Kaufman of Richmond Hill, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
