He is survived by: his wife Virginia of Richmond Hill; his brother Ben Chapman Sr. of Richmond Hill; his children, Ralph, Jr. (Julie) of Richmond Hill and Allison Ingram of Richmond Hill; and his grandchildren, Ralph III (Chap), Blaine Chapman (Danielle) of Savannah, Kelsey Ingram of Richmond Hill, Braden Chapman (Makayla) of Chicago and Scott Ingram of Richmond Hill.
