It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luvenia Carolyn Gordon of Richmond Hill, Georgia, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Harris and Mozetta Harris Blige; her siblings, Doretha Campbell, Johnnie Mae Dobson, Louise Cuthbert, Hazel Lester and Rudolph Harris (Herbert O'Neal); her children, Tonya Lynette Chester and Keith David Gordon; her nephews, Alphonso Cuthbert and Kendall McLean; and her niece Tiawanna Harris.
She is survived by: her daughter LaShawn Williams Terry (Ryan) of Lithonia, GA; her granddaughters, Ashlee Rhodes of Birmingham, AL, Taylor Terry of Decatur, GA and Alanna Terry of Duluth, GA.; her stepgrandchildren, Tierica Vaughn (Travaris) of Rex, GA and Fiorello Terry II (Sharonda); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyler Vaughn, Taliah Vaughn and Fiorello Terry III; her sister Edith Merritt (John) of Savannah, GA; and her pets, Chloe Belle and Rudy Lee Rhodes. She is also survived by her family and friends.
She also enjoyed listening to Gospel music, making charitable donations to the National Kidney Foundation , and keeping her home meticulously clean and beautifully decorated.
