He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey L. Spence, Jr. and Anna Kate Olliff Spence. He is survived by: his wife Kathi Elliott Spence; his son Ivey L. Spence, IV; his brother Ben O. Spence (Kandie); and his pets, Biscuit and Bailey "Junior". He is also survived by two nieces and six nephews.
