He was predeceased by: his son Ricky Lewis of Cordele; and his siblings, Iris Shuman of Black Creek and Ronnie Callahan of Midway. He is survived by: his wife Edith Mock of Richmond Hill; his children, Tammy Clark of Richmond Hill and Tommy Mock (Stacy) of Fleming; and his siblings, Ronnie Mock (Ollie) of Fleming, Donnie Callahan of Dublin, Georgia Prince (Glenn) of Augusta, Helen Holden (Bill) of North Carolina and Melba Jean Wiles of North Carolina. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
