He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Barnard and Gracie Barnard; and his siblings, Sarah Brown, Eva Mae Green, Florence Watson, Lee Barnard, Freddie Barnard, Hamilton Barnard and Steve Barnard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Charlesetta Barnard-Huntsman of Los Angeles and Valerie Jackson (Sharrod) of Macon, Georgia; his sisters, Gracie Greene (Harry) of Richmond Hill and Patsy Johnson of Savannah, Georgia; his grandchildren, Brandon Huntsman, Trinika Huntsman, Latoya Jackson and Vieshia Jackson; and his nieces, Dorothy Johnson, Stella Workman, Judith Barnard-Royal and Melanie Johnson-Bongalon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
