He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lee Davenport and Edith Jones Davenport; and his siblings, Edger Lee Davenport, John Bradford Davenport, Joyce Ammons and Rebecca Ann Wilkerson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Davenport (Linda) of Phenix City, Phyllis Ritch of Hiram and Janice Packard (Jim) of Opelika. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
