She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae Gordon and Arthur Hargrove; her husband Deacon Herbert Hines, Sr.; her children, Linda Hines Taylor, Herbert Hines, Jr., Barbara Hines Jones, Kevin Hines and David Hines; her siblings, Joseph Carter, Charles Carter, Ben Carter, Francis Floyd and La Gloria Glover; and her godchild Channie Frazier.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Gordon Frazier, Minister Alberta Hines Anderson (Deacon Tracy), Robbin Hines and Stanley Hines of Riceboro, GA; her brothers, Isaiah Carter (Patricia) of Hinesville, GA, James Carter (Roberta) of Rochester and Robert Carter (Cynthia) of Rochester; her sisters-in-law, Precious Carter of Rochester and Bernice Bacon of Midway, GA.; her daughter-in-law Kisha Hines; and her sister Angela Vance. She is also survived by fourteen Godchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, spiritual sons and daughters.
