She is survived by: her son Shawn Tyson; her grandchildren, Hallie Tyson, Harlem and Hazel of Cincinnati, Ohio; her siblings, Evelyn Foxx (George) of Gainesville, Sarah Tyson (Moses) of Brooklyn, Linda Griffin of Riceboro, Janice Gadson (Eric) of Savannah, Barbara Tyson Presley of Atlanta, Georgia, Tommie Tyson (Alfreda) of Lugoff and Melvin Tyson of Riceboro, Georgia; her aunts and uncles, Willie Howard Toledo (Ruth), Johnny Howard, Theodore Howard, Rose L. Richardson, Leona Wilson, Margret Lecounte (Franklin) of Riceboro, Barbara Wilson (Samuel) of Wilmington Island and Louise Tyson of Buffalo; and her sibling Bishop Frederick McIver. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
