He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alvin Smith and Mavis Purser Smith; his wife Pat Smith; his son Steven E. "Steve" Smith; and his grandson Cam Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Smith, Jr. (Kathy) of Cochran and Allyce Lankford (Charles) of Mexia, TX; and his grandchildren, Bryan Lankford (Lorena) of Baytown, TX, Sandy Lankford of Thornton, TX and Nicole Smith (Jamie) of Cochran. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Taylor Mill Baptist Church.
