Susan Pitts Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Pitts of Reynolds, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Susan's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Susan has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. W. Pitts; and her parents, James Curran Shumate and Inez Mattie Faulk. She is survived by: her children, Rickey Pitts (Kristin) of Reynolds, Stephanie Davenport of Reynolds and Amanda Harris (Clif) of Macon; and her brother Rickey Shumate of Savannah. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
