She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Hancock and Emma Wainwright Hancock; her daughter Brenda Colter; and her husband Andrew Perry Wainwright, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Wainwright of Reynolds and Billy Wainwright (Sharon) of Reynolds. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
