It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melodye Brooks Forbes of Reynolds, Georgia, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Brooks and Helen Hamby Brooks Peed; and her brother Al Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Harry Forbes, Sr. of Reynolds; her son Harry Forbes, II (Becky) of Reynolds; her siblings, Jack Brooks (Susan) of Butler and Robin Brooks of Butler; her stepfather Lester Peed of Butler; and her grandsons, Eli Forbes and Isaac Forbes of Reynolds. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Congregational Methodist Church, 1516 Thomaston Highway, Butler, GA 31006.
