She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Hugh Pierce and Sally Mae Pierce; her siblings, Walter Hugh Pierce, Betty Pierce Smith and Thomas Pierce; her daughter Judy Montgomery Bargainnier; her grandson Timothy Taunton; and her son-in-law Glynn Taunton.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Montgomery Taunton, Stan Montgomery (Evelyn) and Jeff Montgomery; her stepchildren, Steve Hancock, Carol Wheeler and Dura Stokes; her brother Paul Pierce; and her grandchildren, Tracy Taunton, Jamey Taunton, Kristen Taunton Peaster, Kelli Bargainnier, Jeremy Bargainnier, Micah Montgomery and Graham Montgomery. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
