He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Slaton and Eula Mae Busbee Slaton; and his siblings, Virlyn Slaton, Wayne Slaton and Sandra Klossing.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Slaton of Reynolds; his daughters, Celeste Slaton of Reynolds and Michelle Slaton of Reynolds; his brother Gary Slaton of Reynolds; his granddaughter Lexie Schlosberg of Reynolds; and his great grandchild Novaleigh Schlosberg of Reynolds. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
