He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Weaver Layfield and Leona Harbuck Layfield; his wife Cathy Jinks Layfield of Reynolds; his children, Jason Thomas Layfield of Reynolds, Georgia and Tiffany Layfield Coker (Ashley) of Reynolds, GA; his stepdaughter Lori Buice Brown (Christopher) of Ellaville, Georgia; his brother Weaver Michael Layfield (Julie) of Perry, Georgia; his grandchildren, Rebecca Layfield, Gage Layfield, Austin, Aiden, Madison Coker, Michael and Nicholas Brown; and his great grandchild Lily Grace Brown.
