He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Pitts and Alice Avery Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Susan Pitts of Reynolds; his children, Rickey Pitts (Kristin) of Reynolds, Stephanie Davenport of Reynolds and Amanda Harris (Clif) of Macon; his siblings, Gary Pitts of Reynolds, Mary Lizzie Spillers of Butler, Mattie Pitts of Butler and Bessie Pearl Tharpe of Butler; and his extended family Robert Storey of Butler. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
