She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald H. James; her siblings, Holt Ruffin, Pat Weaver, Earl Marshall "Booty" Weaver and Josephine Porter; and her daughter Jenny James.
She is survived by: her daughter Marsha James Causey of Musella; her granddaughter Sydney Causey of Edinburgh; and her niece Merion Sheppard of Warthen, GA..
