He is survived by: his wife Vicky Hortman of Reynolds; his children, B. J. Hortman (Olivia) of Byron and Lacey Chandler (John) of Chapel Hill, TN; his brother Cliff Hortman of Ideal; and his grandchildren, Elijah Chandler, Swain Hortman, Valorie Hortman and Sadie Chandler. He is also survived by two stepchildren and six step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Taylor Mill Baptist Church.
