She was predeceased by: her parents, Paulie Gilstrap and Ruth Gilstrap; her son Eddie Shadix; her sister JoAnn; and her siblings-in-law, Frankie Wilson and Cathy Gilstrap.
She is survived by: her husband Claude Shadix; her daughters, Crystal Henry (Doug) of Morrow, Tammie Branscomb (Logan) of Forest Park and Heather Shadix (Michael) of Rex; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Shadix of McDonough; and her siblings, Carol Dalton (Terry) of Riverdale and Mark Gilstrap of Acworth. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
