He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie T. Elder and Catherine Elder (Stargell); and his siblings, Eddie Roy Elder and Betty Jean Elder. He is survived by: his wife Laconya Elder; his stepsons, Michael Dugger, Jr. (Oksana) and Patrick Dugger (Breanne); his grandchildren, Brionna Smith, Jeremiah King, Michael Dugger, London Dugger, Deshawn Dugger, Langston Dugger and Tyriq Dugger; and his siblings, Martha Williams (Frank), Willie Elder (Louella), Leonard H. Elder (Elnora) and Min. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
