Marler of Rex, Georgia, born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl Marler, Sr. and Essie Chastain Marler; and his siblings, Paul Marler, Shirley Lewis, Joyce Beard, Mary Jo Canter and Sarah Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wood Marler; his children, Vicky Bryant (Larry) of Lithonia, Georgia and Dyke Marler (Paula) of Dunedin, Florida; his grandsons, Erik Bryant (Courtney) of Lynchburg, Joseph Bryant (Michael Blount) of Wesley Chapel and Chris Marler of Atlanta; his great grandchildren, Valencia, Erik, Jr., Jacovy, Dylan and Aegon; his brothers, Oscar Lawrence Marler (Patsy) and Major Wayne Marler of Anniston, Alabama.; and his friends, Bob Morris, Bill and Helen Rhoades.
