He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Tillman Johnson and Ruth Jeanette Crowe; his son Michael Eugene "Mike" Johnson Sr.; and his stepfather Morris Hilton. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Fowler Johnson; his daughter Dawn Sumner (Chip); his grandchildren, Courtney Pearce (Andrew), Lindsay Johnson, Michael Johnson Jr., Reid Johnson, Chase Sumner and Jessie Sumner; his great grandchildren, Summer, Winter, Cypress, Aspen, Laurel and Olive; his siblings, Morris Hilton, Sylvia Lynch and Zona Witz; and his aunt Sylvia Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors (2580 GA-42, McDonough, GA 30253). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Eastlawn Memorial Park (640 McGarity Rd, McDonough, GA 30252).
