It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tammie Ankney of Resaca, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Smith and Maxine Cantrell Smith. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ankney; her son Colt; her daughter-in-law Katie Ankney; her granddaughters, Autumn Rain and Auburn Rose Ankney; her siblings, Timmy Smith (Rhonda), Johnny Smith (Ann), Jammy Smith and Linda Silver (Daryl); and her mother-in-law Judy Green. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to the National health crisis and the COVID-19 virus, a mask must be worn properly at all times and social distancing guidelines must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
