He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Poarch and Olgalee Poarch; his wife Jean Poarch; and his siblings, Junior, Carlton, Floyd, Jack Poarch, Sr., Dorothy Ellis, Mary Chapman, Jonnie McFarland, Sue Johns and Shirley Gentry.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Poarch and Mike Poarch (Diane); his grandchildren, Brittany Poarch Rich (Chris), Beth Lawwell (Josh) and Jeremy Poarch (Audrey); and his great grandchildren, Ali Hullett, Hayden Poarch, Lucas Poarch, Jessica Lawwell and Johnathan Lawwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Canaanland Baptist Church (4102 Nicklesville Rd NE, Resaca, GA 30735).
