With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawton Edward Pike of Resaca, Georgia, born in Oneida, Tennessee, who passed away on July 24, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daires Pike and Cordellia Phillips Pike; and his son Gregory Allen Pike. He is survived by: his wife Lela Nance Pike; the mother of his children Rosita Posey; his children, Teresa Pike Orick, Greg Woods of Ohio, Sherrie Ellis (Bill) of Oneida, Tennessee and Troy Pike (Beth) of Oneida, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Connie, Tony O'Daniel of Decatur, Tennessee and Jeff Nance of Cleveland, Tennessee; his sisters, Eunice Buttram (JR) of Oneida, Tennessee and Bernice Johns (Wayne) of Resaca, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Cody (Tyler), Travis, Seth, Dalton (Rusty), Dallas (Jenny) and Jabe. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; he leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
