He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence Massingill; and his siblings, Larry Massingill and Dorothy Vaughan. He is survived by: his parent Scottie Massingill; his wife Frances Jones Massingill; his children, Evan Massingill of Resaca and Meleta Hansen of Rutledge, GA; his son-in-law Ryan Hansen of Rutledge, GA; his brother John Massingill; his sister-in-law Juanita Massingill; his sister Evelyn Crump; his siblings-in-law, Roberta Massingill and Bob Vaughan; his grandchildren, Dustin Massingill of Acworth, Tori Smyth of Okeechobee, FL, Mitchell Massingill of Resaca and Terrance Massingill of Carbondale; and his great grandchild Jayden Peters. He is also survived by Papa dearly, and loved to play golf with him, and Alana Massingill; and eleven nieces and nephews.
