He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Brown and Eda Caroline Spangler Brown; his son Andrea Lee Whaley; and his siblings, George Brown, Elmer Brown, Fres Brown Jr., David Brown, Johnny Brown, Katherine Brown, Louise Lawson and Ruth Mae Cross.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Brown; his daughters, Christy Brown of Resaca, GA and Diane Curey of Marion, VA; his siblings, Richard (Vicky Brown), Frank (Charlene Brown), Joe (Becky Brown), Randy (Lillie Brown) and Carolyn "Pinky"; and his brother-in-law David Cagle of Chatsworth, GA. He is also survived by two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ponders Melrose Chapel (138 Melrose Dr, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
