He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Jean Watkins; his brother Lamar Watkins; and his stepgrandson Ryan Patania. He is survived by: his wife Christine Roland Watkins of Resaca; his daughter-in-law Craig Watkins of Shawnee, KS; his grandchildren, Max Watkins and Dylan Pike; his stepchildren, Alvin Long, Pat Long, Vickie Patania, Mike Patania, Trish Daffron, Perry Daffron, Clay Wheat and Christina Wheat; and also, Karen Watkins of Shawnee, KS and James Reed Watkins of Shawnee, KS.
