He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Marvin Braswell and Ruby Alligood Braswell; and his siblings, Emmie Zell Gay, Peggy Hamilton and Gary Braswell.
He is survived by: his wife Katrina Couey Braswell of Rentz; his children, Deidra Braswell Sunshine (Tonie) of Rentz and Chesley Heath Braswell (Lucretia) of Rentz; his grandchildren, Lance Lane Bolyard, Ryan McLendon and Karsyn Braswell; and his brother Larry Samuel Braswell of Cadwell.
