He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Colquitt and Clara Mae Bowen Beecher; his son Dewayne Beecher; and his siblings, Morgan Beecher, Charles Beecher, Wilmer Beecher and Faye Hart.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Beecher of Reidsville, Georgia; his children, Bobby Beecher of Glennville, Harvey Beecher (Brandy) of Glennville, Amy Vizcarra of Glennville and Laura Mae Beecher of Nahunta, Georgia.; his stepchildren, Renee Smith (Gary) of Jesup, Felicia Molher (Chuck) of Indiana and Matthew Anderson of Indiana; his sisters, Melba Dean Kennedy of Lyons and Loretta Lynn of Lizella; and his grandchildren, Haley Vizcarra, Daniel Beecher, Justus Hunter (Trevor) and Marri Vizcarra. He is also survived by nine step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren.
