He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rossie Shuman McCollum and Leon McCollum; his wife Joy McCollum of Reidsville; his children, Bobby McCollum (Yung) of Weston and Nancy Lindsey (Allen) of Mt. Pleasant; and his grandchildren, Dr. Brittney Spivak (Alex), Ryan McCollum, Alyssa, Kenneth and Emma Lindsey.
