He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lester Sr. and Pearl Tootle Durrence; and his siblings, Segal Durrence, Edra Burns, Briden Durrence, Swinton Durrence, Rex Durrence, Durence and Bobby Durrence.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Heath of Brunswick, Stevie Durrence of Reidsville, Greg Durrence of Brunswick and Karla McCullough (Jimmy) of Richmond Hill; the mother of his children Ann Durrence of Brunswick; his sisters, Sue Hommel of Savannah and Reta Watson of Vidalia; his grandchildren, Autumn Prescott (Ken), Chance Durrence, Megan Shuman and Morgan Durrence; and his great grandchildren, Ariel Prescott and Sarah Prescott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
