He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Dale Evans, Jr. of Albany and Jonathan Evans (Crissy) of Reidsville; his brother Jerel Evans of Center; his aunt Irene Howell of Potts Camp, Miss.; and his grandchildren, Riley and Cayden Evans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
