It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Duncan Padgett Jr. of Reidsville, Georgia, born in Lyons, Georgia, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan and Gladys Padgett, Sr.; his wife Eddie Jane Padgett; and his siblings, Robert Padgett, Johnnie Mae Rogers and Hubert Padgett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Shore (Rob) of Reidsville, Linda Marshall of Reidsville, Ann Colson (Jay) of Statesboro and Tammy Rhoden (Mack McLain) of Jesup; and his siblings, Lizzie Bell Edwards of Reidsville, Roy Padgett of Lyons and Roger Padgett of Reidsville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
