He is survived by: his wife Ida Gay of Reidsville; his children, Angela Byrd (Tyron) of Metter, Patricia Gay of Alamo, Charlene Poole of Homerville, Charles Adam Gay of Lyons and Claude Winfield of Glennville; his stepson Wayne Tomacchio; and his sisters-in-law, Evelynia Gay and Freddie Mae Gay.
