She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Newton and Mamie Alma Higgs Jarriel; her husband Windell Johnson; her son Wayne Johnson; her granddaughter Michelle Anderson Daley; and her brother Charles Jarriel.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Thompson (Dennis) of Cobbtown, Debra Collins (Danny Ray) of Cobbtown, Katherine Gromes (Todd) of Claxton, Lavonna Johnson of Waynesboro and Sam Johnson (Belinda) of Gum Branch; and her siblings, Jeanette Fritz of Spokane, WA and Robert Jarriel (Rose) of Okeechobee, FL. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Full Gospel Tabernacle or Ogeechee Area Hospice.
