He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Graham Reeves Felker and Paul McDaniel Felker; his brothers, Paul McDaniel Felker Jr and Jere Leake Felker; and his granddaughter Jennifer Carson King.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca White Felker; his children, Richard Reeves Felker, Jr and Betty Felker King (Rob); his grandchildren, Allison Felker Hedgecoth (Charlie), Reeves Elliott Felker, Sarah Hatcher Felker, Wilson Church King (Holly), Abbie King Finlayson (Ryan), Carter Felker King (Katie) and Parker Stone King (Jenny); and his great grandchildren, Nathan Hedgecoth, Smith, Carson, Payton Finlayson, Leslie Ann King, Harper, Reeves King, Miles and Vera King.
