He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Fry and Nina Mason Fry; his daughter Theresa Fry; his son-in-law Brett Johnson; and his brother Mac Fry.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Withrow Fry; his children, Alex, Jeremiah Fry of Rayle, GA, Amy Johnson-Scofield (Mike Scofield) of Maryville, TN, Rene (Tim Bramlett), Rebecca Fry of Sandy Springs, GA, Anna (Travis Mosley) and Jasmyne Fry of Rayle, GA; and his brother Don Fry of Clarkesville, GA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make memorials in his memory to Gideons International, PO Box 97251 Washington, DC 20090-7251 or to Sardis Baptist Church.
