He was predeceased by: his parents, Valley Gosnell and Annie Maude Coleman Gosnell. He is survived by: his wife Glenda P. Gosnell of Rayle; his children, Angie G. Newby (Carri) of Rome and Robbie Gosnell (Rhianna) of Senoia; his grandchildren, Dillon Newby, Caitlyn Killingsworth, Landon Gosnell, Rosalie Gosnell and Reece Gosnell; and his great grandchild Aspen Killingsworth.
