She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Poss and Sallie Mae Poss; her husband Johnny Shedd; and her siblings, Charles Poss, Franklin Poss, Wayne Poss, Calton Poss and Flora Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Lynn Shedd (Debbie) of Crawford, GA, Gail Stewart (Tim) of Rayle, GA, Angie Paul of Crawford, GA, Darryl Shedd of Rayle, GA and Rodney Shedd (Betsy) of Rayle, GA.; and her sister Peggy Walker of Rayle, GA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
