She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Wesley Buff and Maggie Sherrer Buff; and her son William Clayton Smith. She is survived by: her husband David Smith; her daughter Rhonda Ann Standard (Daniel Kane); her grandson Aden Jaxon Standard; her sisters, Ann Price (James) and Charlene Cobb (Rodney); and her goddaughter Nikki McRee (Newsome). She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
